The Baltimore Ravens host the L.A Chargers in the AFC playoff matchup this morning. Both teams are loaded on defense and they both have the ability to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
Baby making Philip Rivers and the Chargers have slowed down of recent weeks and has lost my confidence coming into the playoffs.
On the other side of the field, rookie QB Lamar Jackson has been managed proficiently by the Ravens coaching staff and has utilized his skill set best. They keep the rookie QB (youngest to start in playoffs) out of harms way by running the shit out of the football and passing with play action.
The Ravens have the best defense in the league and combined with a cerebral, smash-mouth offense, I believe it will be enough to get past the L.A Chargers.
The Chargers have the better roster but coaching has proved to have a vital role of success in the NFL. The Ravens coaching staff will keep Jackson out of trouble and they’ll be able to do enough to sneak past the not so super Chargers.
GO Niners.
