If Josh Gordon isn’t smoking blunts again, the 49ers should be making a call to acquire the talented but troubled young man.
The Cleveland Browns released a statement stating they would release the veteran WR on Monday barring any trade offers from other teams.
The New England Patriots, and the Dallas Cowboys are sure to be gunning for Gordon so the 49ers should act quick and reunite Gordon with now HC Kyle Shanahan.
It shouldn’t take much draft compensation to acquire Gordon and it’s worth the risk on a potentially superstar in the right system.
The 49ers have a locker room full of good dudes that are ready to win now. Adding a player like Gordon will be good for both parties and could lock up the WR position for the future if Gordon is ready for his career to start.
