Lynch, Shanahan, and Jimmy G headed for glory.

Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers take the stage tonight led by starting QB Jimmy Garoppolo in their first preseason game vs the Dallas Cowboys. Year two of the Shanahan/Garoppolo duo has fans excited and the faithful should look forward to the start of what looks to be a dynasty in the making.

Another impressive duo has been John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan, they’ve had the eye for high character players who fit the skill set needed to play in coach Shanahan’s high pace offense. In year two, the players continue to speak of the great culture in the locker room combined with the hunger for greatness being created #brickbybrick

After nabbing their franchise QB last season the Niners protected their investment by signing free agent C Weston Richburg and drafted RT Mike McGlinchey with the 10th overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.

Jimmy Garoppolo also received explosive weapons with the return of WR Pierre Garçon, free agent RB Jerick (Jet) McKinnon, and rookie WR Dante Pettis. Training camp has been competitive with explosive young players on both sides of the ball. Each side of the ball has a understanding of what can be accomplished this season with a capable and mature QB.

The selfless leadership has paved the way for a talented young team lead by generals of the field Jimmy Garoppolo and Richard Sherman. The 49ers are primed to get back to their glory days with the standards put in place by leadership. Football is back!
