Super Bowl LII is less than 48 hours away and the energy is flowing across the nation. The Philadelphia Eagles and back up QB Nick Foles face the dynasty known as the New England Patriots.
Vegas has the Patriots favored over the Eagles by more than a FG, respecting the greatness of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Respect in sports can be deceiving.
The loss of starting QB Carson Wentz (rising star) will be difficult to overcome but back up QB, Nick Foles has filled the position with solid play. Now, he has a chance to lead his team to a Super Bowl victory.
Football is a team sport with multiple leaders, starting with the Eagles Head Coach, Doug Pederson. He has coached the hell out of this team and we’ve been able to enjoy the greatness on the field. After watching Nick Foles attack a young/talented Minnesota Vikings defense on championship weekend, I believe HC Doug Pederson will have Foles ready for Sunday.
Philly’s defense has played charged and exciting as any defense in the league this season. Lead by DT, Fletcher Cox the Eagles defense has the task of stopping the force that is TB12. The interchangeable defensive linemen of the Eagles give them a formula that has worked vs Tom Brady in the past.
The Eagles have the better overall team, but when you’re facing arguably the G.O.A.T duo, you gotta play fearless football for 60 mins to beat the New England Patriots.
